The development of the 8 primary Hexagrams was based on the philosophical concept of the merging of Heaven and humanity. The I Ching explains the Tao of Change also known as the Tao of I. The book is based on the ancient sages’ collective knowledge, observations, experimentations which were systematically compiled and recorded. The philosophical concept of the Truth of Heaven and Earth also applies to the Truth of human life. The merging of the Heaven and humanity concepts formed the foundation of the traditional Chinese culture. In fact, this sacred book is also the source of all spheres of learning, philosophy and thinking in the course of the long and continuous Chinese History.

I Ching is a book based on the observation and experimentation of the ancient sages who witnessed astronomical phenomena in the sky, topographical features on the earth and studied the relationships among all human beings. It is a book based on the philosophical concept on the unity of Heaven and humanity.
